I read someone put an entirely different twist to Pandora’s Tale. She said something to the effect, that hope was the last thing to come out of Pandora’s box, given that all other things to come out of the box were “evil” (so to say), what makes you thing that hope is a “good” thing?
Another wise quote comes to mind, “Whenever you think you are facing a contradiction, check your premises. You will find that one of them is wrong.”
